A Literal “Crappy” Cup Of Coffee
Some people like cream and sugar in their coffee…and some like their coffee with feces. They like it so much that they are willing to pay up to $30 a cup!That’s right, the new coffee fad coming from the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam is the new “poo.” The coffee that is supposed to have the best aroma and flavor comes from civets (a cat-like creature) eating coffee beans and passing them through the natural stages of digestion.
The coffee beans are then treated and roasted…and are completely healthy! According to CBS News, the coffee goes for $100-$600 per pound and only 1,000 pounds are made each year.
And you thought Starbucks was expensive?
