Ryan Beatty is performing live at Durty Nellies on Saturday night and will be coming to the AT&T store at Fox Valley Mall with Roman this Sunday at 11:30AM. He just rocked the stage at our sold out B96 Pepsi Jingle Bash in December, and he has many fond memories from the experience.

Now over a month later, Ryan reflected on the concert. “That was the biggest crowd I ever performed in front of so I think I’ll always remember that. It was my first real Jingle Bash/Ball I had performed at. The energy and the vibe; all around it was one of the funnest shows I’ve ever done.”

Months before the 2012 Jingle Bash, Ryan came to Chicago and visited the B96 studios for a private acoustic set for fans that won a chance to meet him. When asked if the intimate shows or bigger shows make him more antsy, Ryan revealed, “I probably get more nervous for the smaller shows, but when it’s acoustic in front of a group of my supporters, it’s not as nerve-wracking.”

Funny enough, Ryan’s plane was delayed the other day, and the flight attendant asked him to sing to the passengers. “I was sitting there, and one of my band members was talking to the flight attendant, and he told her I was a singer, so she was like ‘Sing in front of everybody!'” Ryan continued, “It was nerve-wracking because I didn’t know any of these people, it was a super small airplane, and I didn’t know if people were going to be grumpy about it. But they were cool, and it was a lot of fun.”

As you may already know, Ryan supports AT&T’s “It Can Wait” campaign. He shared, “It’s important especially because I’m starting to drive and I believe in not texting and driving. It’s such a safety hazard, and I didn’t realize how horrible it was until I started paying attention to the campaign and focusing on it. It’s really great to have kids my age take the pledge as well, and even younger kids who plan on driving in the future.”

No matter how cute the girl is, the text can always wait! (Wise words from Stylz & Roman)
