It was an eventful day in NYC on Sunday, when a swarm of motorcyclists took over all three lanes of the northbound Henry Hudson Parkway, messing with a family in a Range Rover (father, mother, and 2 year old baby).
It all started when one of the bikers slowed to a near-stop in the center lane, causing the Range Rover to hit it and knock the rider to the ground. Just moments later, the Range Rover took off in fear and set off a high speed chase that was recorded by one of the bikers. The motorcyclists forced the Range Rover off the highway sending it into backed up traffic with no where to go. With no police anywhere to be found, a biker approached the car and started smashing the window with his helmet, pulled the driver out of his car, and brutally beat him up while his family watched. The victim was treated for facial lacerations and chest wounds at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and was released yesterday.
But justice was served when Christopher Cruz, 28, of Passaic, New Jersey, was caught and charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, menacing and endangering the welfare of a child. Maybe next time you shouldn’t post your crimes on Youtube for the entire world to see!
