Victoria Beckham had some interesting things to say about that Spice Girls reunion she doesn’t want to be a part of.

The fashion icon told the Sunday Times that she hopes the remaining girls, Geri, Mel B and Emma, don’t sing the groups old songs.

“Of course, as a new group, I do [wish them well]. I do think they should sing new material, though, because what we did as the Spice Girls was so special. If they sang Spice Girls songs, I think I might be a bit sad,” she said.

Now I would understand if the girls were really trying to make a new group but from my understanding, GEM was created because the remaining two girls, Victoria and Mel C, didn’t want to get together for the reunion.

Furthermore, the reunion is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the girl group. How could they not sing the songs that made them famous and the songs fans are there to see them perform?

And if it makes her so sad, why doesn’t she just do the reunion tour for her fans?

She’s the one that declined after all and that made us (and I’m sure the girls) very sad as well.

What do you think?
