The 39th annual Bank of America Chicago Marathon is tomorrow (Sunday, October 9th) !

No big deal…just over 37,000 people from over 100 countries running 26.2 miles in the Chi 😉

Amazing race and the weather is going to be perfect for running …but whether you’re a spectator OR just a regular guy/gal trying to navigate around the city there will be road closures like crazy so here are some things you should know!

Chicago Marathon Tips/Facts for 2016:

-The race starts in Grant Park in 2 waves: 7:20am and 8am

-There are 37,459 runners participating

-They are expecting 1.7 million people lining the streets watching :0

-The Chicago Marathon assists in raising millions of dollars for a variety of charitable causes

-Some road closures will start around 10pm on Saturday, October 8th and remain closed until 3pm latest

Good luck to all the runners! If you’re coming to town to show support – cheer loud and take public transit if possible!
