While promoting his new autobiography, Bryan Cranston eagerly talked about the Cubs.

The Breaking Bad star is a huge Los Angeles Dodgers fan but says he’ll happily root for Chicago’s team.

“I think certainly what’s happening around the country is that, when your team is disqualified from the playoffs, you immediately become a Cubs fan,” Cranston told RedEye last week,  just a few hours before the Cubs eliminated the San Francisco Giants in the division series.

“That’s what happening. Everyone’s going, ‘C’mon, Cubbies.’ I have a problem with that — just a slight problem. My Dodgers are still in this and if the Dodgers play the Cubs and win, they will be a hated team. Hated.”

However, he added, “certainly if my Dodgers don’t get in this year, I’m going to put on that little C hat and root for the Cubbies.”

Hey, at least Cranston isn’t a sore loser because we will beat the Dodgers, right?
