A bet is a bet and Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio had to pay up.

The theme park made a bet with our Six Flags Great America at the start of the World Series.

The bet? If the Cubs win the World Series, then Cedar Point must make a video of the staff performing “Go, Cubs, Go.” If the Cubs lost then the Great America staff would have to perform to the song “Cleveland Rocks.”

They accepted the bet, initiated by Six Flags and added in a little twist – the losing team would rename of their rides for the entire opening weekend in 2017 AND the winning park would choose the ride and name. They were so confident they would win.
Obviously, the Chicago Cubs won the World Series and Great America chose the ride Top Thrill Dragster and asked that it be renamed “Top Thrill Cubster.”
Cedar Point agreed and then published a video of their staff dancing to #GoCubsGo. Look how much fun they’re having!
