With so much hype and anticipation, everyone is wondering if the Gilmore Girls revival was a Netflix success.
Netflix rarely every gives out exact numbers for their ratings, but a Silicon Valley company called Symphony Advanced Media did.
The Wrap reports that Gilmore Girls was Netflix’s THIRD biggest hit.
The revival drew in 4.971 million viewers in the 18-49 demographic.
This means, it beat out Marvel’s Luke Cage, which only drew 3.387 million.
However, it didn’t even come close to Netflix’s cash baby FULLER HOUSE, which had a whopping 7.330 million viewers. (The second season drops on Dec. 9th)
The return to Stars Hollow is impressive however and some think, it could even surpass the last season of Orange Is The New Black, which reported 5. 842 million viewers.
All in all, good job Rory and Lorelai!
