This means – get to JINGLE BASH early!

Get ready for a one-two punch from Mother Nature. Bitter cold already has arrived, and lots of snow is expected this weekend.

Temperatures Friday morning were well below normal on Friday; the high was expected to be about 24 in Chicago, when it’s normally around 37 at this time of year.

The weekend won’t be much better, and also will bring two rounds of snow, starting Saturday night.

The first round of snow, arriving Saturday night, could bring 4 to 6 inches on the North Side and in the north and northwest suburbs. Most of the rest of the city and the west and southwest suburbs could get 3 to 4 inches, while the far south and far southwest suburbs could get 1-3 inches.
