Chicago is a city built on pizza… okay, that isn’t completely true but we do pride ourselves in our deep dish.

That’s why we might not embrace Starbucks’ new pizza concept with open arms.

Eater reports that the coffee chain is dabbling with “Princi” a pizza concept set to open in Chicago, New York and Seattle in 2018.

Starbucks also plans to sell the Princi products at high-end Starbucks locations.

Now, people love Starbucks and will follow them blindly, but adding in real food like pizza seems like a stretch.

What happened to just being a coffee chain with some quick bites?

I don’t want a full blown restaurant scene when I stop in to get my morning coffee and danish you know.

Plus, with Starbucks prices, I can’t imagine how much a large pizza would cost.
