Lil Nas X ft. Billy Ray Cyrus – “Old Town Road (Remix)”

Poor Lil Nas X was only number one for a week before Billy Ray Cyrus came along, now they have the record for the longest-running number one in Billboard chart history. This time travel culture clash was a big help.

Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper – “Shallow”

We still can’t look at garage doors without weeping. Oh, spoiler alert. “Shallow” is the emotional center of A Star Is Born. It’s the song that launched a million shipping ships.

Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello – “Señorita”

They’re going to confirm their relationship at the VMAs right? They have to. We knew as soon as we saw “Señorita” that this was more than a video. We love love and love this video and oh god we hope they confirm at the VMAs.

Taylor Swift ft. Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco – “ME!”

“ME!” is a pastel epic, in a wonderful world with rainbow puddles and brand new cats. Strike the band up, one , two, three. We still want to live in this world.

Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber – “I Don’t Care”

It’s amazing how much fun a green screen can be, and Sheeran and Bieber make the most of it for “I Don’t Care.” Come for the bathrobe, stay for the Panda costume.

BTS ft. Halsey – “Boy With Luv”

The dancing, the colors, the dancing. BTS has lived a lifetime since “Boy With Luv” first debuted, and we still can’t get over this striking song and its mesmerizing video.
