When the coronavirus pandemic canceled the Gaynor's family trip to Disney World, they decided to bring the magic home instead.

Shaina and Tommy’s daughters, 6-year-old Brynn, and 3-year-old Lacey, couldn’t wait for the family vacation, and were, understandably, devastated when they learned they wouldn’t be going.

"This was the first time my 3-year-old was going to be able to go to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Magic Kingdom so she and her big sister were really looking forward to the trip," Tommy told "Good Morning America."

He explained that both daughters were excited to get a princess makeover at the theme park.

"The girls have a pretty extensive collection of dresses so we thought they'd have a blast being Disney princesses for the day," he said explaining that it inspired them to set up their own Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at home.

With a bit of magic, the living room transformed into a boutique fit for a princess. They rolled out the red carpet, invitations for both the little ladies, and a beauty corner with hairbrushes, make-up, and jewelry.

"They were blown away because they saw us a few minutes ago and all the sudden we're changed and had everything rolled out," Gaynor said. "You could just see the excitement on their faces."

While the couple was able to improvise and make some dreams come true, they cannot wait for the day Disney World opens back up again and they can take them to the real Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

The Gaynor family isn’t the only one using their imaginations to get through the tough times.

One family recreated a whole theme park day at home after their trip was cancelled, while another made the park’s beloved “Pirates of the Carribean” ride using household items like a sled as a boat, fake skeletons, sword fights, and more.
