Keeping up with your Instagram feed is a necessity in our photo-driven society.

So it's a good thing that you live in Chicago, a picturesque city with an abundance of social media worthy spots.

We searched for some of the less obvious spots in Chicago that are most popular for IGers.

These murals, restaurants, coffee shops and landmarks will have your friends double-tapping in no time.

Get your camera and filters ready!

1. Flamingo Wall

Murals always make for great Insta photos so it's not surprising that a mural of a giant flamingo garners so much love. Interested? You can find it outside of The Flamingo Rum Club building at 601 North Wells Street. I encourage you to check out the cabaret show while you're there!

2. Home Slice

Pizza in your feed is always a glorious sight. Homeslice's woodsy-interior sets a rustic tone for your photos not to mention the Instagramable signs that are basically an ode to the melty cheesy goodness — there's a neon "I could give up pizza but I'm not a quitter" sign and lettered one that says "Dear Pizza, I love you." In the summer, there's an outdoor area with a defunct airstream available for larger parties, which also houses a "Bitch don't killl my vibe" neon sign inside.

Sometimes, size does matter! Come check out one of our faves- the Mercernary - pepperoni, blackened chicken, jalapeños, diced Roma's, cheddar cheese & a little sour cream on top and wash it down with one of our fresh squeezed margaritas! Get some!

4. The Allis at Soho House

If you're going for a cozy and vintage vibe, The Allis at Soho House is the spot for you. The open cielings and extravagant chandeliers paired with the mismatched furniture and delicious coffee is an Instagram moment just waiting to happen. Bonus points if you come out for tea time.

Friendly reminder: there are outlets in the sofa.

5. Ada St.

Looking for some colorful doors to serve as your backdrop? Head to Ada St.! They painted two garage doors bright pink and vibrant blue, making these doors the most popular in the city.

6. 3 Arts Cafe at Restoration Hardware

Located inside a luxurious and pricey home goods store, Three Arts Restoration is decked out in Instagrammable opportunities.  The wait is long inside this hidden treasure but don't let that deter you — grab a drink and get lost roaming the dreamy store while waiting for your table. We promise you'll leave with several photos for your feed!

7. Lost Lake

The things of tiki dreams! Since you can't always go on a tropical vacation, Lost Lake brings the tropics to you. Drinks made in a pineapple or a ceramic parrot? Your followers will be eternally greatful. And also probably copy you!

8. Bombo Bar

Are you a fan of extravagant and sugar-coma-inducing treats? Look no further than Bombo Bar, Bar Siena's little walk up eatery that serves mouthwatering Bomboloni, also known as holeless Italian doughnuts infused with various filling flavors, coffee and wicked gelato. Your feed and your sweet tooth will thank you.

Rain, rain, go away... Or we'll just sit & eat BOMBOS all day! (TBH we do that anyway). ☕️☔️-- #ShowUsYourBombos --: @chaise_helaine

10.  Asado Coffee Roasters

This coffee shop, tucked away in an alleyway off of Eerie St. has become a staple for engagement photos largely because of its romantic vibe; the brick wall, the metal coffee sign and the twlinking edison lights take you away from the hustle and bustle of city life and make for some picture-perfect moments.

11. Fig & Olive

Fig & Olive is one of those places that draws you in with their decor (no, this has nothing to do with the Kardashians) and wins you over with their delectable cuisine. The ambiance is exclusive and the presence of greenery, including the trees behind the center bar, compliment the fare, which is prepared with flavored olive oils.

12. The Hampton Social

This popular brunch/lunch spot pops up in many news feeds mainly because of it's adorable interior an ode to Rose (all day).

13. Cindy's Rooftop

There are tons of places with views of the city but Cindy's provides panoramic views of Millenium Park and the lake coupled with some delicious drinks. It makes for an amazing experience both personally and socially.

14. Maison Marcel

A very European, quaint patisserie with an adorable esthetic that makes you feel like your somewhere in France and not smack-dab in the middle of Lakeview. The natural light gives the space a youthful glow and the greenery, brunch-tastic signs and swirling wicker chairs make all your Instagram goals come to life. Order some coffee, an almond croissant, some macaroons and you'll find yourself snapping away and losing track of time.

First question we normally hear upon entering: "Where shall we sit?!" ... The Maison Marcel vibe in one picture --
